We appreciate the traveler's joy when they arrive at their vacation destination and discover that the lodging they booked is attractive, comfortable, reasonably priced, well-located and meticulously clean and well-cared for. Convenient, Easily Accessible Location. Please, no parking on grass. There is parking for 2 vehicles.
American Gem is located in Echota, a log cabin resort with entry from Winfield Dunn Parkway (a.k.a. Smoky Mountains Parkway and State Highway 66), the primary thoroughfare for visitors arriving via Interstate 40. Echota is located about 1/4-mile and on the opposite side of the Parkway from the impressive Sevierville Convention Center. It is about two miles north of Sevierville's central business district. Many churches, restaurants. retail stores, grocery stores and much more are within easy driving distance.

American Gem is a one-level cabin with two guest suites. Each suite has a king-sized bed with high quality linens, a corner Jacuzzi tub and an adjoining bathroom with step-in shower. Both suites are equipped with flat panel TV's, Infinity (Comcast) cable TV and Internet. There are rocking chairs on the front porch and a spacious back screened porch.

Summary: This cabin was great for our Christmas trip! It was super clean and so warm and cozy! It’s in a perfect location! It’s away from the hustle and bustle but minutes away from “The Island” and all the activities around the island. It’s close to Target, Walmart, tons of food places and shops. It’s a very short drive to Dollywood and Gatlinburg! The host could not have been any friendlier and easily accessible! We would gladly stay here again! The Dunn’s
